Arable Operations
We offer all kinds of arable operations and services to include on land / in furrow 7f ploughing, all cultivations, pressing with Simba cultipress, Unipress, and Vaderstad Rexius twin machines. Drilling is carried out with our 6m Vaderstad Rapid, 3m Lemken Solitaire, and 4m KRM Soladrill.

Flail Hedge cutting
Annual hedge cutting operations are offered and carried out to a very high standard. We have three machines for this work, with the bulk of the cutting done with our McConnel/Econ mid mounted machines. These are top spec contractors machines capable of heavy growth and a speedy work rate. Being mid-mounted we achieve a forward view of the flail head resulting in much less fatigue.
Saw Hedge cutting
We also offer circular saw hedge cutting. This is usually carried out during winter months on heavily overgrown hedges, bringing them back into shape.
Cuttings clearance service can be offered, using the loadall to push thorns up into a heap for burning if required.

Digger Work
Ray Darley have three diggers, a 2.7 ton Volvo EC25 mini digger, a 7 ton JCB JZ70 zero tail swing 360, and a JCB 3CX wheeled machine. These machines are all available for hire throughout the year.
Land Drainage
We bought this trencher a few years ago to drain our own land. It is equipped with laser guidance and can trench up to 5.5' deep. Since it's purchase we have been asked to carry out various drainage schemes for some of our customers, and is available together with our gravel back fill service in the local area.
Drain Jetting
A drain jetting service is also offered with our Sieger 400 metre drain jetter. This simple but efficient machine can unblock drains and bring back older drainage schemes into good use once again.
Manure Spreading
Rear discharge vertical beater manure spreaders are available for hire, and we also offer full spreading operations.
We have Bunning Lowlander spreaders. These are very heavy duty efficient machines, capable of a wide even spread pattern, and fast work rate.

Precision Drilling
Fodder beet and precision drilling services are undertaken, with insecticide application also available. Stanhay-Webb 592 and Monosem twelve row dills are used, with accurate cell wheel metering, resulting in regular, even, plant spacing.
Inter-row hoeing is also available using a Standen multivator twelve row machine.

Combine Harvesting
We offer Combine harvesting with our two CNH machines. We have a CR9080 30ft cut rotary machine along with a smaller CX8090 straw walker 25ft
Fodder Beet Harvesting
Harvesting is carried out using our Vervaet 617 six row machine. This machine is fitted with vibrating share lifting units ideal for fodder beet. Even the largest of roots are no problem, and minimnum bruising is achieved with excellent cleaning characteristics.
Fodder beet Sales
We grow fodder beet to sell on the farm. This beet is carefully harvested and clamped in November, and offered for sale thereafter.
